"This afternoon, after an interesting conversation about the antics of being social via the internet and a post on Reddit, a friend of mine bet me a full month without shaving that missed connections actually works occasionally in a city as big as ours. This is the test case. I'm going to be unbiased and pick some one in the mid range of memorability. Does this sound like you? or someone you know?I couldn't for the life of me remember your name the next morning, but I do remember wanting to remember it because you talked to me about David Foster Wallace, who had just died recently. I'm pretty sure it was Allison, or Elise, or maybe just Alice. Then again, it could be none of those. I met you in the back room of a very large halloween party on the corner of sheffield and waveland. You were dressed not as poison ivy, but as something similar. You were in green, and covered in leaves, I think it was a character from a book, and your friends had dressed in a similar theme. Which is why you were talking about reading David Foster Wallace. You were about 5'3' and thin. You had longish blonde hair. You told me you were brought out by a couple friends, and that you were newish to the city. I think you went to one of the art schools, it definitely wasn't Depaul, though the party was mostly Depaul. I'm almost 100% sure you were a writing major. I had grown out my hair, and was wearing a blue robe, a white-t, shorts, flip flops, sunglasses and was drinking White Russians. You didn't know who the Dude was, or why he abides. I have sky blue eyes, small gauged earrings and a Latin phrase tattoo'd on my forearm. If you know this girl, or are this girl, please contact me. You were very cool, and getting this guy to grow a whole beard would be hilarious. Thanks for your time :)"
