Saudi female lawyers fight for right to work

"The few who do practise face many courtroom hazards. Some judges simply expel women from the court if their faces are uncovered; others refuse to hear their arguments because their voices are “sinful”. Like all women in the kingdom, female lawyers cannot work or travel without the consent of a male guardian – even if that guardian is their opponent in a case."
