"'Let It Rain' is a comedy, but you might not know that talking to its director, co-writer and star, Agnes Jaoui.'We wanted it to be funny, but it's a serious film,' said Jaoui, 45, while sitting on the terrace of the Cooper Square Hotel in lower Manhattan. 'We're taking on politics, feminism, racism, and history.'"
I picked up a copy of her "Look at Me" (2004) this summer, but I have yet to watch it. It's on a pile of other movies I have bought but have not yet watched. I like the sound of this movie, and also, happily, of her. This will be Netflixed.
