The Met's Picasso Exhibit Draws over 700,000 Visitors

"The Metropolitan Museum of Art hit a milestone this week when the exhibition Picasso in the Metropolitan Museum of Art reached an attendance over 700,000 visitors since its opening in April. This is the Met’s most highly attended show since 2001, and it holds the seventh all-time spot since the museum started tracking visitors over 50 years ago.

We had to wonder, how do they really know the number of visitors Picasso drew in? So we caught up with a press representative who told us, “We have guards that have hand-held clickers in the second gallery, so once visitors really enter the exhibit, they are accounted for.”"
Proudly, one of the 700,000. They had more drawings than anything else, which I found was entirely to my satisfaction, as I have always loved drawings. One feels closer to the hand that sketches....
